De grootste studenten show, uit 92 design scholen van 43 landen uit 6 continenten. Curator Brendan McGetrick.
Petra Janssen (studio Boot) was gevraagd om in de jury van de Global Grad show plaats te nemen. Dit gebeurde tijdens de Dubai Design Week 2017. In deze show zag ze 200 eindexamenprojecten die tentoongesteld waren onder het thema Connect, Empower and Substain. Overige juryleden

Daarnaast heeft Petra een lecture gegeven over het thema empower. Het belang van design toe te passen in de samenleving. Lesgeven in de praktijk.

TALKS – Learn from the masters of creativity and makers/curators of creative culture.
Moderator Andrea van Pol will host a day of talks, interviews and discussions with people like Mariette Hoitink (HTNK), Remi Versteeg (Space Encounters), Josien Pieterse (Framer Framed), Ward Janssen (CineKid), Dre UrHahn & Jeroen Koolhaas (Favella Painting Foundation), Petra Janssen (Studio Boot/Social Label), Antoinette van den Berg, Klaas Kuiken, David Carson and others.
