Anti Fashion Manifesto New York, Edit Napoli, Italie & World expo Lille 2020
De internationale presentatie van Social label tijdens de Anti Fashion Manifesto van Lidewij Edelkoort in New York is geannuleerd vanwege het Corona virus. Since 2014, Li Edelkoort’s Anti_Fashion Manifesto has reset the rules for the fashion industry, inspiring a new generation of brands and designers who disrupt old production and selling methods. Now in its 5th year, the annual Anti_Fashion Conference will travel from the University of Marseille to Parsons in New York for the first time. Open to students, faculty and paying professionals, the 2-day conference is a meeting place for new ideas and creative solutions, bringing together the most talented and diverse minds in the fields of fashion, textiles, retail and product design. With a particular focus on sustainable ethics and circular practice, the dynamic conference features both local and international speakers and is a vector for innovation, dialogue and inspiration. Edit Napoli van 5 tot 7 juni verschoven naar 16 – 18 October 2020. Deze innovatieve design beurs is gericht op een nieuwe generatie ontwerpers die inzetten op vakmanschap, lokale maakindustrie en bewustwording om anders met arbeid om te gaan. Social label sluit hier naadloos op aan en wil sociaal duurzame retail stimuleren.
Later in het jaar, van september tot 8 november, zal Social label onderdeel zijn van de twee maanden durende wereldexpositie in Lille 2020 van trendforecaster Lidewij Edelkoort.
