PINK HOUSE

Tijdens de Dutch Design Week 2021 tonen we ‘the pink house’ van Social label. Een huis waar mensen, activiteiten en producten betekenis hebben. Een huis vol kleine en grote verhalen. Een huis waar de zon door de vensters schijnt, de schoorsteen rookt. Mensen naaien schorten en handschoenen van oude tenten, eten en drinken van het Social label servies, mensen vertellen verhalen en tonen trots hun werk.

Democratisering van schoonheid in een intieme setting waar de tijd stil staat. De toekomst van Social label ligt in ‘het zijn’ en het omringen met design van betekenis. Met dit positief activisme geven initiatiefnemers Petra Janssen (Studio Boot) en Simone Kramer (C-mone) vorm aan een groeiende inclusieve beweging met een sociaal duurzame collectie en programma voor een andere kijk op werk, leren en meedoen.

The future of Social label lies in ‘being’, and in surrounding ourselves with design with meaning. With this positive activism, initiators Petra Janssen (Studio Boot) and Simone Kramer (C-mone) are forging a growing inclusive movement with a socially sustainable collection and program for another view on labour, learning and participation.
